| Accident and Emergency (A+E / Casualty) | |||||

This service is intended for patients who have had accidents or require immediate medical care. They can only deal with conditions that are less than 48 hours old If you attend A+E and it is felt that your condition does not require attention by a hospital doctor you may be asked to contact your own GP or the Out of Hours Service. |
For patients with conditions meeting these criteria you can attend the following departments Morriston Hospital Singleton Hospital (minor casualty unit, no x-ray facilities) |

The Out of Hours Service is for patients with urgent and serious medical problems that cannot wait until their surgery is open again. It is essential that the service be used correctly thus enabling the doctor to offer the best possible care to the patients in most need. |

For conditions meeting the criteria please ring:- 0845 850 1362 Please do not worry if you forget this number, you can ring your surgery and it will be provided (even out-of-hours) The service is for use at the following times; 6.30pm to 8.00am Mon - Fri Weekends Bank Holidays At any other time you should ring your GP surgery as normal. |
